Freedom ChurchLebanon, IN Shane and Rachel Frazier Shane grew up in Rushville, Indiana. During his time there, you would often find him on the baseball field with his friends. After graduating as senior class president, he went to University of Southern Indiana. There he sought a degree in Social Work. After changing majors, Shane found himself returning back home and attending IUPUI for a telecommunications degree. During this time, he was able to meet Rachel, who was finishing her degree in Psychology and Missions from Southeastern University. The two were married in August of 1993. Shane and Rachel were members of Lakeview Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. Actually Rachel and her family attended Lakeview for over 30 years. Here, Shane and Rachel began serving the Lord in many areas of the church. Then, in January 2003 they went on staff as the Small Groups Pastors. While there, they began small groups from the ground up to well over 100 groups consisting of 900+ people. Shane has continued his education with Global University and has received certifications from Prepare/Enrich Ministries pertaining to counseling for those seeking marriage and enrichment for those in marriages. Shane loves his family and their time together. A close second to that is his time with friends. A very close third is “his” show 24. He claims he isn’t addicted, but it’s been said that he will stay up all night to watch an entire season. Every so often, you may find Shane chasing a little white ball into the woods and water in order to put it in a hole with a flag sticking out of it. Golf isn’t his specialty, but he sure likes to try. |
