Marcus and Brook Brown

In 1994, at the age of 20, Marcus began his ministry to children in a small church outside of Dallas, Texas while attending Bible college. It was there that one year later he met his wife, Brook.

Marcus and Brook moved to Springhill, Louisiana in 1996 to work with his father at Trinity Worship Center, During the six years they were there, Marcus served as outreach director and assistant pastor, experiencing great growth in every are of ministry. In 2002, Marcus and Brook became senior pastors of Magnolia Christian Center in Magnolia, AR. It was there that their daughter, Ashlyn, was born. Marcus had a major influence in Southwest Arkansas as a pastor, teacher, and leader.

In 2005, Marcus and Brook moved to Brooklyn, NY to become senior pastors at Metro Christian Center. Metro Ministries is known for being the largest children’s ministry in America, reaching over 25,000 children a week in the inner-city of New York.

Now, after 13 years of ministry and one child on the way (a son), Marcus has fulfilled the dream of his life—planting a new church in the Albuquerque area. Relationships are at the heart of Marcus’ life and of New Life Church. Marcus maintains an intimate relationship with God through daily prayer and Bible study. He makes time with close friends and family a priority. As a pastor, Marcus envisions New Life Church as a place where people can connect with others and God for a life changing and a life giving experience.

Marcus has a general business degree from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and a masters in Practical Theology.
