Gateway ChurchSpring Hill, TN Charlie and Gina Weir Family Charlie and Gina have been married 15 years and their daughter, Annie, is 9 years old. Lizzy is their 3 year old full blooded beagle. Charlie and Gina met at a city wide Bible Study in Atlanta known as Metro Bible Study. Within a year of meeting they were married and working at a church in East Texas. Gina and Annie share Georgia roots but Charlie was born and raised in New Jersey. Personal The Weirs love spending time together as a family. Routinely they have “Charlie, Gina and Annie” days. These are times reserved to kick around doing just about anything as long as they are together. Charlie spent his growing up years playing all sports but especially loved baseball. Now he enjoys tennis, golf and bike riding. Gina likes tennis and walking and Annie enjoys gymnastics, playing with friends, listening to music, and writing songs and books. Professional October 17, 1981, Charlie preached his first sermon in West Orange, NJ. He was only a High School Junior at the time but had already sensed God’s call to pastor. This year marks the 25th anniversary of that sermon. He still has the study Bible purchased with the love offering he received that evening. He has served 4 churches in his ministry career. The last thirteen years were spent on the executive staff at Mount Paran North Church of God in Marietta, GA. Gina has spent the last 7 years leading women’s Bible studies at church and home.
