Chris Surratt

Where he’s from: Chris was born in Denver, CO, but he mostly grew up Houston, TX before moving to Charleston in 1995 and then to Greenville in 2004.

His story: He grew up in a pastor’s home and felt called into ministry when he was 16 at a youth retreat. After playing in several really unsuccessful rock bands in college, he became Youth Pastor and Worship Leader at a church in Houston. He was there for 4 years before joining the staff at Seacoast in 1995.

Family: Chris and his wife, Jenny, have two little girls, Brianna and Ashlyn.

Favorite Sports Team: St. Louis Cardinals, unless they are having a bad year then he abandons ship and pulls for the Houston Astros.
