Keith and Julie Boyer

Keith Boyer, Lead Pastor of Crossroads Community Church
Keith and Julie Boyer met, married and have served together in ministry over 20 years at Crossroads Community Church. Greg Surratt was Keith’s Senior Pastor when he began as a Student Ministries Pastor. He then became an Associate Pastor, prior to becoming the Lead Pastor, when Greg relocated to South Carolina in 1987.

Alongside Keith, Julie has served in various areas of the ministry and is currently Crossroads’ Director of Videography and Programming. Keith and Julie have been married since 1983 and have three adult daughters Danielle, Marissa and Brittany. The Boyer’s are a close family. They enjoy traveling together. They love the outdoors and enjoy horseback riding, white water rafting, relaxing by the pool, sports, movies and hanging out with friends.

In Keith’s tenure, Crossroads has grown from one campus averaging 300 to three campuses averaging 2100; and two multi-state campuses on the threshold of launching. As a visionary, Keith developed and trained over 200 leaders through a 10 month Leadership Institute, currently in its sixth year; from which many of the Crossroads leaders have emerged. As a part of Crossroads’ Campus Network, the Boyers, with a few other families, have relocated to Commerce City, Colorado to launch Crossroads’ first campus in a more unincorporated, urban area.

Keith’s passion for expanding God’s Kingdom and Leadership Development extends past U.S. borders. He has ministered in Mexico, Russia and has been the key note speaker for three week-long Pastors’ Conferences in Mwanza, Tanzania with over 600 attending each. Crossroads’ continues to partner with this ministry along with supporting many individual missionaries and outreach organizations.

A gifted communicator, Keith’s best known for his relevant messages and ‘taking it off the felt board’ when sharing God’s Word. Nothing gets him more jazzed than seeing individuals get a grasp of God’s love and their identity in Him; and then helping them see that God has a specific purpose for their lives. [Jer. 29:11] This is reflected in Crossroads vision statement: “Helping every person we can, find their place in God’s plan.”
