Stovall WeemsBoard Member Pastor Stovall is a native of Louisiana, and graduated form LSU with a bachelor of Religious Studies. While at LSU, he served in the ministry internship program at Christian Life Fellowship in Baton Rouge, LA. Upon graduating from LSU in 1992, Pastor Stovall was hired on staff at Christian Life as the pastor of Living Waters, their on Campus college and career ministry at LSU. While serving at Christian Life, he met and married his wife of 12 years, Kerri. Pastor Stovall and Kerri moved to Jacksonville to plant Celebration Church in then spring of 1998. Celebration Church began its first service with a team of seven people on Sunday, August 31st 1998. As Celebration Church has grown to over 6000 members (as of July 2006) attending three campuses with three more projected campuses early 2007. Pastor Stovall continues to emphasize his vision of reaching all communities in North Florida by partnering with other Pastors and churches to spread God’s love and the message of salvation. Pastor Stovall is on the board of Christian Professional’s Resource, and is a member of Mission First Coast. Celebration Church is an active supporter of international and local missions, including Builder’s Care, the Crisis Pregnancy Center, City Rescue Mission, Safe Harbor Boys Home, Daniel House and the Autism Association of Northeast Florida. Pastor Stovall and Kerri have 3 children, Kaylan, Stovie, and Annabelle. |
