Welcome to the Association of Related Churches!
In the fall of 2000, a vision was born. After thirty years planting churches and observing both successful and unsuccessful ministries, I was saddened by the tragic statistics of most new church plants. When I discovered that more than eighty percent of new churches failed within the first five years and that many of the new church planters that began with excitment and vision abandoned ministry along with their churches, I knew something had to change. Therefore, the ARC was created to provide an evironment of encouragement and coaching that included close mentoring relationships and financial resources for new church planters.
Now, six years later, the ARC has successfully planted 44 life-giving local churches in America in 21 states. Over 120 churches, and growing, have teamed up with the ARC to share resources, develop lifelong ministry relationships and help plant more churches. The ARC has become a powerful resource for local pastors wanting to break inertia and get new ideas as well as new pastors wanting to get the best strategies for planting their churches.
ARC is all about planting life-giving churches that grow and reproduce and plant life-giving churches themselves. If you are a new or potential church planter, you are invited to join us for a Church Planters Roundtable (CPR) especially designed to address the concerns and needs of church planters. We will train you how to have a great launch in your target city. If you are interested, learn about the application process for becoming an ARC sponsored church planter.
